1/1/2024 0 Comments Dr rochard lee![]() ![]() ![]() Richard undertook a MSc in Surgical Technology at Imperial College London and was awarded a distinction award for his thesis to optimise an artificial cornea device. He has published over 50 papers including several book chapters and he has delivered over 25 presentations at local, national and international level. Dr Lee has an active interest in research and surgical innovation. Richard also served on the committees of the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society and the United Kingdom and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. During his training, Richard was elected to represent the trainees in his region at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and represented the Royal College at the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges. Dr Lee’s initial medical training was at University College London and he undertook his specialist ophthalmology training in the London Deanery. He is the Lead Clinician of the Glaucoma service at Chelsea and Westminster with expertise in the medical, laser and surgical management of all adult glaucoma, including more complex and secondary glaucomas.
